The Short Version

Aviary apps do not track you. They do not collect analytics. They do not include any third-party SDKs. Your data stays on your device and in your iCloud account. That's it.

Policies for Each App

This page covers the practices shared by everything we make. Each app also publishes its own policy describing exactly what it stores and which servers it talks to:

Data Collection

Aviary apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to third parties. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to see how you use our apps.

Network Requests

Our apps only make network requests that are necessary for their core functionality. These requests go directly from your device to their destinations — no data passes through any intermediary server operated by us. Exactly which requests an app makes depends on what it does, so each app documents its own in its policy, linked above.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, our apps use Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Notifications

Our apps may send local notifications based on events relevant to their function. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No push notification service or external server is involved.

Third-Party SDKs

None. Aviary apps contain zero third-party libraries, frameworks, or SDKs. Every app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.

StoreKit

Some Aviary apps include an optional tip jar powered by Apple's StoreKit 2. All transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Children's Privacy

Aviary apps do not collect data from anyone, including children. Our apps do not contain any age-gated content or features.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since our apps don't collect data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
